The Field Guide to Corals of Mauritius is a joint publication of the Albion Fisheries Research Centre and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. More than 160 hermatypic coral species have been described by means of diagrams, photographs and brief notes on its biology, ecology and geological history, and thus provides an easy to use key to species level identification.
This 334 page book is of format 14.5 X 20.5 cm, abundantly illustrated with colourful photographs. The objective of the guide is to raise public awareness on the marine ecosystem, and is recommended to professionals from fisheries, education and tourism sectors, and to scientists involved in fisheries and marine environment research.
