Fisheries - Field Guide to Corals of Mauritius
The Field Guide to Corals of
Mauritius is a joint publication of the Albion Fisheries Research Centre and
the Japan International Cooperation Agency. More than 160 hermatypic coral
species have been described by means of diagrams, photographs and brief notes on
its biology, ecology and geological history, and thus provides an easy to use
key to species level identification.
This 334
page book is of format 14.5 X 20.5 cm, abundantly illustrated with colourful
photographs. The objective of the guide is to raise public awareness on the
marine ecosystem, and is recommended to professionals from fisheries, education
and tourism sectors, and to scientists involved in fisheries and marine
environment research.
